1Do I need a dance teaching qualification to work in Sheffield with you?
No. Strong training and the ability to hold a room count for more than a certificate. Qualifications are welcome, a DBS is required (we'll guide you through it), and several of our best teachers came straight from performing.
2How many hours a week could I expect?
Whatever you make available. Two Saturday hens a month suits some instructors; a class teacher holds one fixed evening; combine all three roles and it becomes a proper part-time income. We book only inside the days you give us.
3Do I have to choreograph the hen party routines myself?
No — every theme arrives with a routine and playlist ready to teach. Your job is delivery, energy and adapting it to the room. If you'd like to create a new theme, we'd love to hear it, and it's paid extra.
4Would I be employed by you, or freelance?
Self-employed contractor work, paid by the hour per session, which is what gives you the flexibility. You'll need public liability insurance or be willing to arrange it — we can point you to affordable cover.
5Can I teach for you alongside another job or studio?
Yes, and most of our teachers do. Hen sessions sit on weekend afternoons and classes on weekday evenings, so they fit around a day job, university or other teaching without a clash.
6Where in Sheffield would I actually be teaching?
Weekly classes and most hen sessions run at a studio we hire in the city centre. Some hens happen at the group's accommodation across South Yorkshire or in the Peak District; wedding lessons are at the couple's home or venue. We tell you the location with each booking.
